Classic Construction was called in for fire restoration at Richardson Crossing after a fire was started by an unlicensed plumber the homeowner hired to replace an outside leaky faucet. The disastrous fire caused structural damage to portions of the wood wall and floor framing. The damage required parts of the wall and floor framing to be removed and replaced. However, to complete these repairs, we had to temporarily shore the roof framing and remove some second-floor frames that did not sustain structural damage.
Since the complex was built in the '80s, we had to meet several upgrade requirements during the reconstruction, including raising the window sill height for child safety. Our team also reconfigured the windows and sliding doors to provide optimal energy efficiency. Classic restored the property to its original condition and got the homeowner back in their home safely.
